Education and Empowerment
Our Approach
We tailor treatment plans based on your functional limitations and personal goals. Aiming to empower you to face your health challenges with autonomy by giving you the tools to acquire competency so you can move again with confidence.
We listen to you and encourage your ownership in the recovery process. This fosters a stronger relationship and leads to better outcomes.
We bring empathy and perspective as we are active individuals too and know the frustration that comes with injury.
Balance is a person-centered clinic that delivers care for musculoskeletal injuries, education, and accountability on the path to healing.
Meet our Team
Miles K. Colaprete DC, CCSP
At a young age, an injury left him nearly immobile. Chiropractic care helped so much it left a profound impact and a desire to give back.
After earning a Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC) from Northeast College of Health Sciences in 2011, Dr. Colaprete worked in a multidisciplinary clinic in NYC. There, he learned the importance of cooperation between healthcare providers to improve client outcomes.
In 2013, Dr. Colaprete moved to Vermont and joined the Balance team and in 2015, he assumed ownership and became the clinic director.
Dr. Colaprete strives for excellence in client care and leads by example. He stays up to date with evidence-informed best practices and values coordinating care with other providers such as Physical Therapists, Primary Care Physicians, Orthopedists and Trainers.
Outside of the office he can be found, well…outside.

Kristina Coulombe- Office Manager
I’ve had the pleasure of managing the office at Balance since 2015. I am here to help with insurance questions, scheduling, paperwork, to listen and anything else you may need on your journey to health and wellness. I believe in educating patients on their insurance benefits and no question is too silly!
My favorite thing about our office is seeing the transformation in our patient’s health and quality of life from one of pain and discouragement, to one of health and hope, energy and success!
Outside the office, I enjoy traveling, playing softball, and doing all kinds of arts and crafts. You may see my artwork hung up at the office from time to time!
